About The Event

How do you understand and embrace yourself more deeply? Where do you start? The Enneagram and the VIA Survey of Character Strengths are valuable, time-tested tools for introspection that help you get to the heart ... of you. We'll focus on the essentials and the insights from our own personal experiences learning about, engaging with and growing through the use of these powerful systems for self-understanding. We hope to jumpstart and provide guidance for your own exploration.

The Enneagram is a powerful tool for personal transformation. Stemming from the Greek words ennea (nine) and grammos (a written symbol), the nine-pointed Enneagram symbol represents nine distinct strategies for relating to the self, others and the world. Each Enneagram type has a different pattern of thinking, feeling and acting that arises from a deeper inner motivation or worldview.

The VIA Survey of Character Strengths provides a wealth of information to help you understand your core characteristics. Most personality tests focus on negative and neutral traits, but the VIA Survey focuses on your best qualities. They survey focuses on the 24 VIA character strengths that are the pathways to using your highest strengths for optimal well-being (PERMA): Positive emotion; Engagement; Relationships, Meaning; and Accomplishments.

1. Please be sure to take the brief Enneagram test and the VIA Survey of Character Strengths (both are FREE) BEFORE the workshop on 2/9 and BRING YOUR RESULTS WITH YOU.

2. Example of "Being Your Best"

Think of a specific time when you were at your very best: when you felt proud of yourself ... happy to be alive ... authentic ... energized. What is the quality / character strength you were expressing? Be prepared to share with the group.

3. Your Favorite Quote (or one you like)

Unique, personalized presentations on each subject; interactive group discussions and individual activities. Plus take home materials to continue your inner work.
